Fall engagement photos always end up being some of our favorites. Many couples come into an engagement session with a mixture of nerves, excitement, and apprehension. Often times, we find the majority of people are a bit afraid of the camera. We always use engagement sessions as a warm-up for their wedding day.

Kara and Paul's August wedding boasted simplistic, modern detail in every corner. The couple got ready at the Hilton in downtown Columbus, a stylish setting for the chic couple. Paul stepped into his custom suit (which was embroidered underneat the collar with their wedding date), and Kara stepped into her whimsical gown made by Paloma Blanca.

Romantic elements accented the classic April wedding of Kim and Michael. Everything, except for the formal photo shoot inside the Ohio Statehouse, was held at the historic Westin in downtown Columbus.

Lauren and Jason's late May wedding was a day full of laughing. The groom and his groomsmen suited up at the Drury Inn, while Lauren and her bridesmaids headed to the Broad Street Presbyterian Church to get dressed. Upon arriving to the church, it was clear Lauren's only mission that day was to enjoy every moment...

Jake and Sara enjoyed a summer wedding at Pinnacle Golf Club. It was a very hot day in late June, but that did not stop this couple from enjoying every moment of their day. Sara did not let the heat stop her from looking breathtaking in her romantic Tara Keely gown, or from enjoying her intimate first look with her father.

Sarah and Brad's Columbus Athenaeum wedding will always be special to us for many reasons, the biggest being that I was a surprise for the bride! The bride's mother was particularly picky about wedding photos because she is a retired wedding photographer of 30 years. So, she did tons of research, contacted me, and together we got to surprise Sarah and Brad with a wedding package.

We had an amazing time working with Lana, a student at Watterson High School in Clintonville, Ohio. Senior portraits  are always full of excitement and nostalgia. This time in a young person's life is filled with anticipation of the next big chapter in their lives.

Abby and Bryan's fall wedding was laced with rustic charm, warm colors, and wooded scenery. Canyon Run Ranch was the perfect setting for a relaxed, yet elegant, wedding. The day started with Bryan and his groomsmen getting ready on-site. The groom's joyous demeanor made for an easy and fun photo shoot. After the groom and his groomsmen had channeled their inner GQ models, we headed over to Abby's dressing room.

There is nothing quite like a Modern Jewish Orthodox Wedding. I love the when I get the opportunity to photograph one of these weddings, especially since there are so many exciting parts of the day to look forward to. From the signing of the Ketubah to the breaking of the plate, there are so many moments to photograph.

Dani and Patrick's late fall wedding was at the stunning Westin in downtown Columbus. This classic wedding was full of energy and excitement. After a beautiful ceremony at Bexley United Methodist Church, with a special performance by the brides former voice professor, it was time to head back to the Westin for the reception.
