What do you wear to senior photos?
For senior photos, it is best to wear something that reflects your personality and makes you feel confident. Here are some suggestions:
Solid Colors. Neutral tones, such as navy blue, black or gray work best to focus on the subject. However, this is all subjective.
Avoid clothing with busy patterns or logos which can be distracting.
Make sure your outfit is clean and pressed.
Layers. You can quickly change your look by adding a jacket, sweater, stylish blanket, scarves, etc…
Accessorize. Belts, jewelry, and other accessories add polish.
Are Senior Photos worth it?
Absolutely. Senior photos capture your personality and accomplishments. This is a special time when you are becoming an adult and this gives you the memory of this time in your life. In addition to providing a professional image for your yearbook, it also gives you an incredible set of images for your social media, LinkedIn, college applications and job resumes. You will have a set of images that represent your personality which can be used in a variety of ways and something to look back on for years to come.
What is the best month to take Senior photos?
We provide Senior photos year round, however the best time for Senior photos in Columbus is during the Spring or Fall months. The weather is typically very nice during these months and makes it enjoyable to shoot outside. Fall provides a stunning back drop in Ohio with the changing leaves and Spring tends to have a more pastel look. During winter months, we typically shoot inside at a variety of locations, While things can be hot during the Summer, there are still plenty of opportunities to shoot during this time.
What time of day is best for Senior photos?
Early in the day or later in the day are best. We tend to avoid mid-afternoon since the sun is overhead and can lead to unflattering light. During sunset, you have the most flexibility with light and locations.
How many outfits do I wear for Senior photos?
I recommend 3 outfits. One formal, one casual and one that reflects your personality. However, this is all subjective and you are able to wear whatever you feel the most comfortable in.
What not to wear for Senior photos?
Avoid busy patterns, logos and loud colors that can be distracting. Focus on solid colors as mentioned above.
Why do Senior photos cost so much?
This is based on a variety of things. Experience, skill, retouching, direction, attention to detail, the amount of photos you receive and more. In addition to years of experience to provide amazing photos, there is a lot of retouching involved. This also includes skin retouching, color correction, blemish removal and more.
