Nina & Tommy's Hilton Columbus Wedding

Nina and Tommy | Hilton Columbus Wedding

One of the best parts about being a wedding photographer is the stunning venues I get to photograph in (or call my office). Whether indoor or outdoor - every location has something exquisite to offer. And some will always remain a favorite! Nina and Tommy had their ceremony at the St. Joseph's Cathedral and reception at The Hilton Columbus Downtown. And both of these locations are excellent for taking photos. The Cathedral happens to be one of only two in Columbus, and it's just divine! Their choice of the reception venue, Hilton Downtown, is without a doubt one of my favorite places to shoot. With killer modern architecture, there's no shortage of photography spots. So, Nina and Tommy, thank you for having such great taste!

Photographing Nina and Tommy's wedding was a joy! It was a beautiful day, and I started by taking Tommy's getting ready shots. He looked so handsome and chilled out as he played pool before the ceremony. Nina also spent some fun time with her bridesmaids. I took photos of the girls as they relaxed and laughed before the bride got ready.

Nina was a stunning bride, and once she got ready, it was time for the bride to shine for some solo portraits. The picture of Nina reading a letter from Tommy is one of my favorite photos of the bride. It was such an intimate and sweet moment for her.

The magnificent interiors and stained glass at St. Joseph's Cathedral were perfect for photography. After a simple and lovely ceremony, I took some couple portraits of Nina and Tommy inside the cathedral. And then we shifted outside to take some fun photos of the newlyweds with their wedding party. After the session here, I was looking forward to what I would get to create at the reception venue, and it did not disappoint!

We got some more stunning bridal portraits on Hilton Columbus Downtown Hotel's sky bridge. The reception venue was outstanding, and to top that, my couple had planned for sparkler fountains during their first dance. It's like they thought about every little thing that would make their wedding photos gorgeous. There was so much love and romance in the air! My couple's loved ones had some heartwarming speeches prepared, and it was clear to me that Nina and Tommy were genuinely loved by their people.

Once the dance floor was opened for the guests, the celebration turned up a notch with all the crazy dancing! At one point, my bride and groom were even DJing!
