Couples often feel lost when it comes to choosing venues that suit their personalities. Some venues might offer an amazing outdoor space but then lack the right ambiance inside. However, my couple, Jennifer and Cole, got the best of both worlds. They wanted rustic vibes and luxurious, top-notch hospitality for their wedding, and that's exactly what Granville Inn gave them. It was a gorgeous venue just 30 minutes away from the Port Columbus International Airport. It was surrounded by rolling hills, majestic trees, and a New England-style village. Jennifer and Cole gave me the opportunity to photograph their special day at this picturesque wedding venue, and I loved it!

I began photographing my couple while they were getting ready separately. The two of them had written letters to each other, and as they read them, I got the chance to capture some unfiltered emotions. As my bride was adding the final touches to her look, I took solo portraits of Cole. Like I do with my brides, I love giving some extra time to the groom for some solo portraits. I also took some photos of Cole with his groomsmen.
Once she was ceremony-ready, I photographed Jennifer outside on the staircase. The natural light from the large window helped me create some lovely bridal portraits. Jennifer's train and veil were gorgeous and added grace to the images. Her sparkly tiara was also a great addition to the look. Soon Jennifer had the first look for her dad, and it was such a sweet moment. My bride's father admired her and kissed her hand as he expressed his love for his little girl, now all grown up.
Photographing the ceremony and then the formals outdoors was a delight for me. The florals were sublime, and the green surroundings provided me with breathtaking backdrops for photos. I got some lovely and romantic couple portraits both before and after photographing my couple with their bridal party. Jennifer twirling her bridal gown while her gang of girls looks at her lovingly is one of my favorite photographs from this wedding.
Before the guests moved to the reception site, I took the opportunity and photographed Jennifer and Cole there. It was such a perfect time for this photo as the arrangements were untouched, and the light was warm and beautiful. The reception was all about heartfelt speeches, a first dance lit up by sparklers, and lots of crazy dancing by the guests.
