International Love Story - Darby House Wedding Photos
Daniel and Catherine have one of the most interesting love stories we have ever heard. This couple has seen the world together, and have many adventures ahead. Because of their unique story, we asked them to share their story in their own words!
"Daniel a diplomat, from New Zealand, met Catherine, an American, who was in Cairo on a business trip, at an Oktoberfest Party at the US Embassy. Catherine only had a week left on her business trip but they spent every day together. After she returned to Washington, DC, they emailed, skyped, and messaged each other constantly. They visited each other and went on romantic trips around Europe and the Middle East. In July 2016, in front of an ancient house covered in beautiful flowers in a cliff-side village in Tunisia overlooking the Mediterranean, Daniel proposed. People came to the wedding in Galloway, Ohio from all over the world including New Zealand, France, England, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and Turkey. The two will make their home in Wellington, New Zealand and continue to travel the world as a family with the New Zealand foreign service."
