Even though each wedding is unique in its own way, there are three common elements that I get to see in all of them - love, happiness, and a great party. From the getting ready moments and the first looks to the vows and the reception party, I love seeing how the wedding day progresses, and I am an especially big fan of watching two people, madly in love and so excited to spend the rest of their lives together. Robby and Brittany’s wedding at The Sanctuary On Neil in Columbus, Ohio, was a lovely event to witness and document. The couple was like a ray of sunshine, smiling throughout the day and just having the time of their lives on their big day.

The Sanctuary On Neil provided a charming, modern, yet old-world atmosphere, which was perfect for Robby and Brittany’s fairy tale wedding. This gorgeous venue hosts a variety of social events, including weddings, holiday parties, anniversaries, and more. The venue also has VIP suites for brides and grooms to relax before the big day, so all they need to do is get ready without any worry.
The bride wore a gorgeous wedding dress embellished with intricate details that sparkled in the light as I took a few solo bridal shots of Brittany. Plus, her tiara added a perfect touch of regality to her look. Disney should totally consider giving Brittany her own show/movie because she looked like a real-life Cinderella! I also got to capture the special moments between Brittany and her bridesmaids, and it was clear that they all shared a deep bond with each other. Also, not only did they look incredibly elegant in their emerald green dresses, but each dress had its own unique spin to it!
Before their wedding ceremony, Robby and Brittany did a quick first look. Brittany walked up to Robby, and as he turned around, he was completely blown away by her beauty. He looked at her with so much admiration, and their photos are proof of the love they share.
Robby and Brittany’s wedding ceremony took place in a room with huge pipe organs, giving a grand setting to capture all their special moments. After the ceremony, I whisked away the newlyweds for some couples portraits. Brittany and Robby were complete troopers, walking hand-in-hand from one end of the venue to the other, posing in front of different backdrops. One of my absolute favorite pictures of them is the one in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree - signifying the season of love and togetherness. We also headed outdoors, where the newlyweds hopped on a red trolly, showcasing their fun, adventurous personalities!
Robby and Brittany’s outdoor wedding portraits against the venue’s brick walls were absolutely magical. The building was lit with bright yellow lights, casting a magical charm. Later in the evening, their ceremony room was converted into the reception area where everyone could celebrate and have a good time. Brittany and Robby had their first dance as husband and wife, and to add to the enchanting atmosphere - there were wedding sparklers that lit up as they swayed to the music and shared sweet kisses on the dancefloor. It was truly a night to remember.
