Every wedding brings something unique - picturesque locations, magnificent decor, and beautiful colors - all of it is like art in motion. Each celebration is an incredible experience, and needless to say, I cherish it always. Olivia and Sam’s wedding at The Ellis in Columbus, Ohio, was a delightful experience. From the way the couple lovingly looked at each other throughout the day to the cheerful laughter that filled the room at their reception, I could sense that not only were these two meant to be together, but they were starting a new chapter in their lives surrounded by the ones who love them the most.
Olivia And Sam’s Wedding at The Ellis
Olivia and Sam's special day was unlike any other. It all began with the romance of the amazing century-old Trinity Episcopal Church in Columbus, where they said their heartfelt vows. Afterwards, The Ellis in Italian Village made an ideal setting for the following wedding celebration. With their closest friends and family around them, this lovely couple celebrated one of life's greatest moments with so much laughter and joy. From the pastel-hued palette to the stunning venues - it was truly an unforgettable event.
My couple had a picture-perfect wedding ceremony at the Trinity Episcopal Church of Columbus. I was amazed by the abundance of beauty that graced every corner of this beautiful and historic venue. It had an old-world charm that was breathtaking, and the decor was truly stunning. Sunlight streaming through stained glass windows is one of my favorite things about church ceremonies, and this one did not disappoint. As everyone watched in admiration from the pews, Olivia and Sam smiled from ear to ear while reading their vows to each other.
Documenting the newlyweds on their special day was an absolute pleasure. The backdrops that both venues offered were perfect for taking romantic portraits of the couple. I also shot a few solo portraits of the bride and groom and some with their wedding party, which was super fun and stress-free. From the bouquet’s subtle chromatic shades to the wonderful bridesmaids in rustic hues, the colors in Olivia and Sam’s wedding photography turned out to be so stunning.
Olivia and Sam's reception was magical. Closed off from the other wedding festivities, the dance floor became its own little bubble, with the glittering string lights above that made it look like something out of a fairy tale. The couple showed off their graceful moves in their first romantic dance as husband and wife, followed by a joyful cake cutting, which filled the air with warm delight. It was such a memorable night, and looking at the couple’s happy faces, I could tell that there was nothing they’d rather be doing and nobody else they’d rather be with in that moment.
