There’s something truly special about a couple who just wants to kick back and enjoy their wedding day with loved ones without any fuss or stress. As a wedding photographer, it’s a joy when I meet couples who choose to focus on the fun and love of the day rather than getting caught up in the details. This was precisely the case with Emily and Dan. They chose to tie the knot at the Revery, a fantastic venue nestled in Columbus, Ohio’s North 4th Corridor. Their Revery Columbus wedding was all about simplicity, joy, and letting loose. It wasn’t about elaborate plans or unnecessary stress but about dancing, singing, and celebrating their love surrounded by their closest friends and family.

When I arrived at the venue, Emily and all the bridesmaids were in the bridal party robes. They hopped on the bed and posed for some bridal party shots with the widest smiles on their face. After some fun time with her girls, Emily got ready for the day. With that bridal glow, Emily looked stunning in her bridal gown. After Emily was dressed and ready to go, she did a lovely first look with her bridesmaids as well as with Dan. It was such an emotional moment, and it was clear that they all shared such a strong and deep bond with Emily.

Dan and Emily had the cutest first look. These two didn’t need any posing cues and were a delight to work with! For their solo and couples portraits, we stayed indoors, and I used the North 4th Corridor’s interiors as the backdrop. We explored the venue for the best spots, and I must say there were so many great places to pose and just soak in the moment. The one shot of Emily and Dan sitting on a red couch and sharing a kiss was the sweetest! You could we how happy and excited they were to get married.

With Dan and Emily still calm as cucumbers, it was time to get married! Honestly, they were such a breeze to work with. It was as if they were living the best day of their life, and nobody could ruin that for them. These newlyweds definitely knew how to party and have a good time. The night kicked off with an amazing first dance. In the soft glow of the evening sun, the couple swayed to the music and looked at each other with so much love. It was such a romantic moment, and everyone couldn’t help but admire the deep love and affection in that very moment.

Soon enough, the dance floor opened up for everyone to join in, and that’s when the party began! DJ lights lit up the scene, and the bride and groom themselves showed off their grooviest dance moves! I had no idea how much my couple and their guests loved to dance! I enjoyed photographing their effortless moves and all the vibes radiating from everyone present.
