Prem And Sitara’s Indian Traditional Wedding | Irongate Equestrian Center
From the preparations to the ceremonies and rituals, each culture has its own unique way of celebrating love. And as a wedding photographer, it is my absolute privilege to document the many different cultures that couples share and blend on their wedding day. Prem and Sitara’s multi-day traditional Indian wedding at Irongate Equestrian Center is a perfect example of this. It was truly a pleasure to document every special moment - the many celebrations, their ever-changing beautiful outfits, all the colorful decorations, and their genuine expressions of joy throughout. It was such an amazing experience to be able to document their wonderful celebrations with friends and family.
Prem And Sitara’s Irongate Equestrian Center Wedding
As Prem and Sitara's multi-day Indian traditional wedding unfolded before my eyes, it felt like a lovely dream I didn't want to come out of! The start of their wedding festivities was marked by Sitara's beautiful henna ceremony. Her beaming smile clearly showed her joy and excitement. As I continued to document the celebrations, I was struck by how regal she appeared in all of her traditional attire. Her husband-to-be, Prem, cut an equally striking figure in his ethnic outfit. When the two of them united for their special first look and exchanged their blissful smiles, I couldn't help but feel enchanted as I captured the love that clearly shone through.
The joyful celebration of Prem and Sitara's wedding day was an incredible experience. It started with the bride and groom's families having a wonderful time during rituals, sharing rich traditions and lots of smiles. I had a lot of fun photographing the family members who were clearly full of love for the happy couple. Even Sitara’s adorable pet dog joined in the festivities, dressed up in its own ethnic finery, adding to the fun!
It was amazing photographing the couple getting ready, both of them radiating excitement as they donned their wedding outfits – Prem in his sharp sherwani (Indian ethnic apparel) and Sitara resplendent in her shimmering saree. The ceremony venue was beautifully decorated for this traditional Indian wedding looking both vibrant and intimate. I loved capturing the entire ceremony and especially Prem and Sitara with such joy on their faces.
Being able to capture their special day from start to finish was incredible, and capturing their couple's portraits was definitely one of the highlights of their wedding reception day. It was effortless to photograph them together - they were so in love, so relaxed and natural that it took minimal posing direction from me. Everything about the venue had an undeniable romantic touch with soft pinks everywhere, from the lighting to the flowers and everything in between. It was an eventful night that included some lovely speeches followed by cake cutting and then everyone hit the dance floor. Prem truly stole the show with his slick dance moves and Sitara joined in shortly after that along with all of their loved ones. The night was full of joyous laughter, fun, and dancing. It truly was magical!
