A wedding is such an exciting and joyous event. It's a day when two people come together to celebrate their love, and to start a new chapter in their lives. However, planning a wedding can be tedious. From the flowers to the dress, everything has to be arranged and decided. And as a wedding photographer, I aim to capture all the tiny details that make a couple’s wedding unique and unforgettable. I want my couples to look at their wedding photos and remember all the hard work and dedication that went into making their wedding day memorable. Miranda and Luke’s wedding at Vue Columbus in Ohio was full of magic and romance. Everything was planned to perfection, and I had an absolute blast capturing their wedding.
Miranda And Luke’s Wedding At Vue Columbus
Luke and Miranda chose to get married in style at Vue Columbus. The event space was the ideal setting for Miranda and Luke’s romantic wedding. This unique venue is located in downtown Columbus, Ohio. It is a super unique, environmentally conscious, highly sought after venue that also is beautiful (hard to beat) with indoor and outdoor spaces plus city views of the Columbus skyline. It was, quite honestly, the perfect setting for this wedding!
Luke and Miranda’s wedding photography began with photographing their getting ready moments. And as their wedding photographer, I was privileged to capture all the magic and excitement in the room. Surrounded by her closest friends, Miranda was getting ready for the big day ahead. Her bridesmaids were by her side each step of the way and were super kind. Miranda and her bridesmaids also posed for adorable group pictures in their robes, and looked so happy to be a part of the happy couple’s special day. Meanwhile, Luke got ready in another room with his groomsmen.
Miranda looked stunning - she wore an exquisite wedding dress with her hair styled in loose curls. She also held a bouquet of gorgeous flowers and a tiara that complemented her entire look. Miranda looked like a true princess, ready to walk down the aisle. Luke looked dashing and handsome in his blue suit, waiting to marry the love of his life.
After their wedding ceremony, it was time to get some group portraits. Miranda and her bridesmaids posed for outdoor photos with some amazing architectural elements as the backdrop. The weather was perfect and everyone had the brightest smiles on their faces. The group photo of Miranda with her bridesmaids in the middle of the street with the tall buildings of Columbus behind them was simply epic! (And of course all traffic rules were followed).
I also got great shots of the couple indoors. Luke and Miranda were complete naturals in front of the camera. They walked around and looked for different spots to pose in front of. One of my favorite pictures of the newlyweds was when they sweetly held each other in an elevator. Luke and Miranda’s couple portraits oozed romance.
Towards the end of their wedding day, I had the chance to take the couple outside again for some photos in nature. The evening light was simply gorgeous, and the couple looked absolutely radiant. Miranda showed off her dazzling tiara and a chic leather jacket, as it became a bit cold. Luke and Miranda strolled around the grounds, stopping from time to time to look at each other lovingly. At one point, Luke dipped Miranda dramatically, creating a truly fairytale moment! The two of them were clearly very much in love, and it was a pleasure to capture their love story.
