What I love most about being an engagement photographer is getting to meet so many wonderful couples like Kim and Jacob at the start of their journey. Photographing their Scioto Mile engagement session was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I first met them, their energy was undeniable as they laughed and looked at each other in a way that could only bring a joyous smile to my face. We spent a few hours wandering through the lovely parkland as I captured the beautiful connection between them, their bright smiles lighting up every moment.
Kim And Jacob’s Scioto Mile Engagement
When I'm capturing an engagement session, nothing makes me feel more grateful than to see how my couples put their best foot forward. Kim and Jacob were no different! They really made sure they looked and felt great for our day together. Scioto Mile in Columbus was an exceptional spot for their session. The sun beaming throughout definitely gave us the extra mood lighting we needed. I also loved my couple's engagement session outfit selection. Kim and Jacob couldn't have picked a better look for the first outfit. The culturally inspired dress spoke entirely for itself, the orange, white and golden hues from their dresses truly lit up the entire session.
Scouting a few picturesque, natural backdrops at Scioto Mile for Kim and Jacob's engagement session was truly a delight for me. I loved capturing their bright smiles and twinkling eyes against the rail tracks as they posed with absolute elegance and expertise. Whether it was stealing hearts with romantic couple poses or dancing gracefully along the riverside - these two were absolute show-stoppers! Having them look into each other’s eyes felt truly magical. Let’s just say that all those moves looked like they came straight from a romantic movie!
For part two of their shoot, my lovely couple changed into stunning formal attire: Kim in her beautiful blue-striped dress, and Jacob suited up. Photographing them walking down lanes, hand-in-hand, with a few dance moves here and there was so heartwarming. Their contagious smiles brightened up the scene even more. The moments when they stared into each other’s eyes filled my heart with joy. I took every opportunity to capture them showing expressions of love with such ease that I couldn’t help but feel inspired by their strong bond.
