From grand weddings with their large guest list and extravagant decor to small, intimate weddings that radiate warmth and love, every wedding is different and yet equally beautiful. Nothing beats capturing all the laughter, happy tears, and hugs that accompany a wedding day. I recently had a delightful experience being Katelyn and Jeremy’s wedding photographer. With their loved ones in attendance, the couple had the sweetest wedding at the Hitch Post Ranch. Surrounded by stunning lake views, horse paddocks, and lush greenery, the spacious venue was the perfect spot for this couple’s dreamy wedding. Here’s a glimpse of their day.
Katelyn And Jeremy's Wedding At Hitching Post Ranch
I started the day by taking some getting-ready photos of the groom and his groomsmen looking sharp in their suits. The color of the boutonnieres contrasted perfectly with their attire and they were ready to get the show on the road! Katelyn looked like a vision in her wedding dress complimented by her beautiful bouquet. The icing on the cake was the great lighting at the venue, which was exactly what I needed to get those romantic, dreamy pictures.
Jeremy and Katelyn’s wedding ceremony was held in the great outdoors at the Hitching Post Ranch. Their ceremony setting was splendid with wooden benches placed on either side of the aisle for family and friends to witness their union. Their wedding altar was decorated with flowers matching Katelyn’s bouquet and the planted flowers and tall trees in the backdrop just added to the overall aesthetics. During their vows, it seemed as though mother nature knew what was happening and blessed the happy couple with some sunshine as they sealed their marriage with a kiss! It was such a wonderful sight to behold.
After taking their first steps as husband and wife, I whisked away the couple for a few couples portraits. The venue had numerous enchanting backdrops and vast open spaces which were ideal for outdoor wedding photography. Letting them enjoy the moment, I continued photographing the newlyweds with that just-married glow on their faces. Some of my favorite pictures were the ones I took of Katelyn and Jeremy sitting on a wooden swing hanging from a tree and the sweet kisses they shared under a wooden arbor structure. And another highlight from Katelyn and Jeremy’s wedding was when Katelyn spent time with a horse! I never miss a chance to capture wedding photos with animals as they always make for such adorable pictures.
For their wedding reception, Katelyn and Jeremy hosted their party inside a barn, decorated with yellow lights all around and a gorgeous chandelier hanging in the center of the dance floor, giving off warm rustic vibes. After all the formal dances, we headed outdoors again for stunning sunset pictures. Being complete daredevils, Katelyn and Jeremy climbed on a bale of hay for an epic wedding photo. I love it when my couples go the extra mile (while still being safe) to make their wedding pictures truly stand out. Perfectly aligning with their fun personalities, Jeremy and Katelyn chose a sparkler exit that they walked through with pure joy and bliss!
