Courteney And Jason | Columbus Athenaeum Wedding

Every wedding is beautiful in its own way - from the gorgeous decor to the heartfelt vows. The love-filled celebrations and all the sweet moments I witness and photograph make me love what I do. Courteney and Jason’s Columbus Athenaeum wedding in Ohio was truly unforgettable. The couple planned to celebrate their big day in three different locations and went all out to make it a wedding to remember. Jason and Courteney looked beautiful together and everyone had so much fun traveling from one venue to the other!

Courteney And Jason’s Columbus Athenaeum Wedding 

While some couples book a luxurious resort and have their celebrations all in one place, others like to mix it up and use multiple locations for the different parts of their wedding day - and Courteney and Jason did just that! 

Courteney and Jason kicked off their celebrations by getting ready at the Residence Inn Downtown Columbus. The bride and groom were all smiles as they got ready for one of the biggest days of their lives. Surrounded by her bridesmaids, Courteney glowed with happiness as she and her girls posed for some bridal party photographs. They were all so kind and supportive and were genuinely happy to be there for Jason and Courteney. Looking dapper in their black suits, Jason and his groomsmen got ready and headed outdoors for some group portraits. The sun was peeking through the trees and allowed me to get those perfect vibrant, and colorful wedding pictures that I love capturing. 

Before walking down the aisle, Courteney and Jason had a romantic first look. Dressed in a stunning wedding dress with a big bow at the back, Courteney looked like a true princess as she approached Jason. Turning around to see his bride, Jason’s face lit up as he saw Courteney and they both held hands as they admired each other. The lovebirds also wrote down personal vows to one another and read them out loud to each other. Witnessing these intimate moments always brings me so much joy and I'm glad to have captured them for Courntey and Jason. 

Courteney and Jason had an indoor wedding ceremony and invited their loved ones to be a part of their union. The couple had a circular wedding arch which was set atop the stage and was decorated with white flowers and green leaves - it was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony photos. Guests were seated on either side of the aisle and couldn’t take their eyes off Jason and Courteney as they smiled and said their vows. 

After saying I do, we ventured over to the Ohio Statehouse for more formal and bridal party photos. The Ohio Statehouse offered numerous wonderful backdrops and everyone looked amazing. I had a blast capturing all the excitement and happiness in the air. Courteney and Jason radiated love and joy and were so effortless when it came to posing. They were laughing, smiling, and looking at each other with so much love as I continued taking their portraits. 

Jason and Courteney had their wedding reception at the Columbus Athenaeum. The venue was huge with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and the dance floor was spacious enough for everyone to join in on the fun. Entering the hall as husband and wife, Jason and Courteney had that 1000-volt smile on their faces and were so happy to begin this new journey together. After cutting the cake, Courteney and Jason took to the dance floor and had a romantic first dance as they lovingly gazed into each other’s eyes. They also had a sparkler send-off which was the perfect ending to their wedding day.
