Amneet And Hermondeep | The Club At Corazon
From glamorous white dresses with show-stopping trains to intricately embroidered brightly-colored lehengas - the diversity that comes with weddings never fails to amaze me. Weddings offer an opportunity for me to learn about diverse cultures and traditions, and they also remind me that despite these differences, love remains a universal aspect at every wedding. Amneet and Hermondeep’s The Club At Corazon wedding was a total blast from start to finish. The energy was electric, with their nearest and dearest coming together to celebrate the couple’s new journey! And it was an honor capturing their sweet memories through my lens.
Amneet And Hermondeep's The Club At Corazon Wedding
Amneet and Hermondeep’s wedding kicked off with the classic Indian tradition of mehendi (henna), where a skilled artist adorned Amneet’s hands and feet with intricate designs. The depth of color in the mehendi is believed to reflect the strength of love between the couple. Amneet looked beautiful in a kurta, a traditional Indian outfit, as she prepared for her big day, surrounded by people who couldn’t be happier for the bride-to-be.
Next up was the haldi ritual, where turmeric is applied to the bride and groom's bodies to ward off any negative energies. In Indian culture, the yellow color hue of turmeric is also associated with peace, happiness, and new beginnings. And as far as happiness goes, there was plenty of that during every single activity that led up to the couple tying the knot.
As the ceremony continued, Hermondeep sat on the floor surrounded by his loved ones, who fed him sweet treats and mushed haldi on his face! It was a lively scene, as haldi ceremonies often are, adding to the overall joy of the occasion. Every room was decked out in vibrant orange and yellow flowers, and everyone’s party outfits were a kaleidoscope of colors and sparkle! But the highlight for me was the genuine happiness radiating from Hermondeep and Amneet’s families.
Then came the final moment - Amneet and Hermondeep’s wedding! Both equally ecstatic, Hermondeep and Amneet got ready at different venues. Hermondeep donned a royal sherwani, a traditional Indian attire for a groom, along with a pink turban, a long black fur-lined cape, and a sword in his hand. His wedding party matched his regal attire, giving away a very Game Of Thrones-esque vibe! Amneet color-coordinated her gorgeous lehenga with Harmondeep’s turban and looked absolutely ravishing!
Weddings are a time of joy and celebration, and Hermondeep's arrival at The Club At Corazon was no exception! He made a grand entrance at the venue with his baraat, aka an Indian wedding procession, where the groom, accompanied by his family and friends, dances all the way to the bride’s doorstep or wedding venue. And their arrival is celebrated with the dhol's rhythmic beats and firecrackers. The energy was absolutely electric, and as their wedding photographer, I will never forget this moment.
This lot surely knew how to party because Amneet and Hermondeep’s wedding reception was totally lit! The guests took charge of the night, with the boys lifting Hermondeep on their shoulders and grooving to the beats. And if this wasn’t enough, the couple themselves wowed everyone with a jaw-dropping performance!
Hermondeep and Amneet even hopped on a rickshaw (a three-wheeled cart) with a wedding sign that read - “Hermon Weds Amneet”. Every intricate detail, from the vibrant wedding outfits and decor to the lively rituals, left a lasting impression on my mind. I loved their enthusiasm throughout the day as they embarked on this new journey.
