Paige and Jeffrey | The Athletic Club Columbus Wedding
Even as a wedding photographer, sometimes, I get truly mesmerized by weddings. Whether it’s my couple or their chosen decor or wedding venue - no matter how many weddings I photograph, they are always going to feel special to me. Paige and Jeffrey had a beautiful wedding at The Athletic Club Columbus, and it was clear that not only had these two put in a lot of thought into their wedding attire but they had thought about every little detail that makes a wedding spectacular. Complementing the beauty of the wedding were lots of love, support, and warmth from the couple’s friends and family, who were all such a joy to be around.
Paige and Jeff’s Wedding Day
I started my day by taking some photographs of Paige and her bridesmaids as they were getting ready. Paige looked ravishing in an elegantly embroidered white dress that went perfectly with her bridal bouquet, which was a mix of pink and maroon roses. It was a huge bouquet, and it was the perfect addition to Paige’s look and solo portraits. Before doing a first look with Jeff, Paige did a quick first look with her bridesmaids, and their reactions said it all!
Paige and Jeff’s first look was simple and yet so sweet. After he turned around, the groom actually took a couple of minutes to properly admire his bride, and you could just see that precious wedding glow on both of their faces. Before we headed to the ceremony, I took some portraits of the couple in their last moments as fiances, and all I can say about that moment was that these two were super excited and eager to be married, and the photos are proof!
Paige walked down the aisle with her father, and she just looked like a vision. One of the best parts about working with Paige and Jeff was the amount of time they put aside for taking photos - before the ceremony and after it as well. The Athletic Club has some great spots that double up as backdrop options for photos, so in order to take advantage of what we had, my couple and I did a mini tour of the venue. The grand spiral staircase and the royal architecture of the venue was just perfect for couples portraits and group shots with the wedding party. Those of you planning an indoor ceremony could definitely look into this venue if royalty and classy is your vibe.
