Nicole and David invited me to be a part of their special day at St. Joseph Cathedral in Columbus, OH, and it was nothing short of magical. The atmosphere was full of romance and joy, and the love surrounding the occasion was breathtaking. From the stunning decorations to the gorgeous venue, everything was picture-perfect. The Ivory Room reception was an absolute blast, filled with laughter, dancing, and cherished memories that will last a lifetime. Get ready to swoon!
Nicole & David’s St. Joseph Cathedral Wedding
The day started with such an extraordinary vibe as I captured the moments of Nicole and David getting ready. The bride was positively radiant, surrounded by her thrilled bridesmaids. I watched in awe as Nicole transformed into a vision in her wedding dress. Her loving mom was there every step of the way, ensuring she looked breathtaking. They shared a heartfelt embrace, and the expressions on her mom's face were truly heartwarming.
David, being a member of the Air Force, looked incredibly handsome in his full uniform, and just before the ceremony, Nicole and David exchanged heartfelt wedding gifts in the form of love letters. It was such a sweet gesture, and it brought tears to Nicole's eyes. Capturing that special moment as they read their notes in a quiet space before embarking on their big day felt surreal.
Nicole didn't have one but two first looks. The first was with her dad, a truly emotional moment. Looking at his stunning daughter, he couldn't help but get teary-eyed. Nicole, filled with love, gently held his face. Next waiting in line was David, and as he turned to see her, his face lit up with the broadest smile, and they shared a warm embrace. Their couple portraits were simply amazing, and they were such naturals in front of the camera. Their deep connection and affection were evident in every kiss, smile, and loving embrace.
Nicole and David's wedding ceremony took place at the breathtaking St. Joseph Cathedral. The church's interiors were absolutely magnificent, creating a heavenly atmosphere. The combination of artificial lighting and natural light pouring in made every corner look stunning. But the real focal point was the beautiful couple, exchanging heartfelt vows and sealing their love with a passionate kiss. The energy was electric as the new couple made their grand exit, cheered on by a crowd of well-wishers. It was a magical moment.
One of my absolute favorite photographs from the wedding is a couple's portrait taken as David and Nicole made their way back into the church. The architectural details and painted windows inside the church provided the perfect backdrop. This particular photo exudes romance and has a cinematic quality that makes it truly special.
THE IVORY ROOM - COLUMBUS OHIO
Nicole and David hosted their wedding reception at The Ivory Room, and what a sight it was! As I entered the venue, I was captivated by the beautiful decor. The tables were adorned with stunning flower arrangements, delicate cutlery, and exquisite linen. The overall atmosphere was sweet and lovely, perfectly matching the couple's style. The centerpiece of the evening was the magnificent three-tier wedding cake covered in white frosting and decorated with fresh flowers - simply divine! The newlyweds had their enchanting first dance, and it was the perfect prelude to non-stop celebration on the dance floor, as the night was filled with joy and endless revelry.
