Nicki and John | The Renaissance Hotel Wedding
As a professional wedding photographer, I love nothing more than being able to capture all the precious moments of a couple's big day. But when I have a picture-perfect couple in front of my lens and a stunning venue as the backdrop, it takes the experience to a whole new level. So, when John and Nicki asked me to be their wedding photographer, I was thrilled! Not only are they a lovely couple to work with, but I knew that their wedding would be a gorgeous event. The Renaissance Hotel in Westerville, Ohio, did not disappoint. The overall atmosphere of the wedding venue was truly magical, and it made for some really amazing wedding photos.
Nicki and John’s Wedding Day
The Renaissance Hotel’s classic elegance and sophistication was the perfect setting for Nicki and John’s special day. I started the day photographing the getting ready pictures of the bride and groom. Nicki was breathtaking in her white dress and veil, and John looked dashing in his black and white attire. They both looked so incredible together. I took pictures of them getting dressed, doing their hair and makeup, and posing for some photos with their families and friends. The wedding party was bubbling with contagious energy and excitement, and I was thrilled to be photographing such a fun group.
The grandeur of the wedding venue added to the beautiful wedding photography. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped, and there are plenty of locations for both indoor and outdoor portraits. John and Nicki were so lovely together that it made my job easier to capture the joy of the occasion perfectly. Their families and friends were all so supportive and full of love and made the day even more special. I took some stunning single and couples portraits inside the hotel and took advantage of the picturesque grounds for some outdoor shots.
John and Nicki were an adorable couple and a dream to photograph. There was a flair of love, elegance, and grace in their couples portraits. I also took some candid shots of them laughing and smiling with each other. They definitely were radiating that “we are getting married!” glow.
Luckily, the sky was on fire during the sunset, and we got some amazing shots during the golden hour - one of my favorite times to take couples portraits. The lighting was oh so romantic. In one of the photos, Nicki and John had gracefully wrapped arms around each other's waists and looked into each other's eyes with such love and affection that it made my heart melt. It was a beautiful moment that I was glad to have captured.
