John And Mae's Kelton House Wedding

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing John and Mae's enchanting wedding at the Kelton House in Columbus, Ohio. The venue, a historical gem, provided an exquisite backdrop for their special day, blending old-world charm with romantic elegance. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beauty of the Kelton House with its Victorian architecture, lush gardens, and elegant interiors. It was the perfect place for John and Mae’s unforgettable wedding.

John and Mae's Wedding At The Kelton House

Mae looked every bit the princess as she prepared for her wedding day. Her bridal suite, with its gorgeous floral wallpaper and large, light-filled windows draped in sheer curtains, was a dream come true for any photographer. The soft, natural light streaming in added a magical glow to the room, creating a serene and ethereal atmosphere. Mae’s bridal dress flowed with grace and elegance, complementing the historic ambiance of the room. The bridal suite, with its vintage decor and the grand staircase leading up to it, perfectly captured the historical essence of the Kelton House.

One of the most memorable parts of John and Mae's wedding was their first look. They chose to see each other for the first time outdoors, amidst the lush greenery surrounding the Kelton House. The anticipation was palpable as John stood with his back turned, waiting to see his bride. When Mae gently tapped his shoulder, the look of pure joy and love on their faces was a moment I was honored to capture. John and Mae are high school sweethearts, and this moment was a culmination of their love story that began years ago.

They shared a private, tender moment, taking a leisurely stroll around the venue's gardens, which provided a beautiful and intimate setting for their first look photos. The way they gazed into each other's eyes, with the lush greenery and historic architecture as their backdrop, made for truly stunning photographs.

John and Mae’s ceremony was held outdoors in the Kelton House’s manicured gardens. Pleasant weather set the stage for a sweet and simple wedding ceremony. The couple exchanged vows surrounded by their closest family and friends. Their love for each other was evident in every glance and smile. It was a heartfelt and intimate ceremony, filled with beautiful moments that I was fortunate enough to photograph.

After the ceremony, we explored the Kelton House grounds, taking advantage of the venue's stunning surroundings. The lush gardens, with their vibrant colors and charming pathways, provided the perfect backdrop for their portraits. John and Mae were such a joy to work with; their love for each other shone through in every photo.

As the evening unfolded, the celebration continued with a fun and lively reception. Mae had changed into a chic and stylish short white dress, ready to dance the night away. The couple made a grand entrance, holding hands as their guests cheered them on. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the couple’s exit. Surrounded by their guests, who lined the path and blew bubbles, John and Mae shared a warm hug under a shower of bubbles. John and Mae’s Kelton House wedding was a perfect blend of elegance, tradition, and personal touches, making it a day to remember for everyone involved.
