Intimate Wedding Photography in Columbus Ohio
It’s a tough time to host a wedding during the Covid-19 Pandemic. We've helped many of our couples postpone their weddings to 2021, but we’ve also had quite a lot of weddings this year. It’s been quite the variety - from big Columbus weddings to small intimate family only weddings. Lauren and Brian originally planned on having their full wedding this October, but decided to just have a small intimate family wedding this year and push the reception celebration to next year when restrictions from Covid-19 will be lifted.
Lauren got ready at her childhood home in Columbus, Ohio with just her parents. She wore a gorgeous Pronvias dress from Gretchen Reece, with flowers by Griffin’s Flowers. After many heartfelt moments with her parents, we arrived to the ceremony at St Patrick’s Church in Columbus Ohio. This was the church she grew up in and it was important we captured many of the “photos she always dreamed of having as a girl.” It was a beautiful ceremony with just family.
After the ceremony and family photos, we travelled to Old Worthington for wedding photos and then off to German Village. Worthington was important to her growing up and I prefer to use locations that my couples have a connection with if possible. German Village is always a perfect choice for fall wedding photos and since they had a small family dinner at the Vue, it was a no brainer to stop for a few photos.
Even though it was a small wedding, it was full of moments that Lauren and Brian will cherish forever. I feel very lucky to have been a part of such an important time in their lives and look forward to an amazing reception in 2021!
