Hanna & Sid's Jeffrey Mansion Engagement
A couple made for each other, a medley of lush greenery and the rustle of dried leaves painted in yellow and orange hues, serene, rustic vibes, and an awe-inspiring historical venue - that’s what I got as I photographed Hanna and Sid’s idyllic engagement session. My lovely couple chose the Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley as the venue for documenting their journey together. The scenic views of Jeffrey Park added so much charm to my photos and helped me create some stunning engagement images of my couple, and the fun we had was unparalleled. It was a blissful experience to be in the company of two people in love and tell their story in their unique way. The warmth they exuded not only kept my spirits high but also motivated me to highlight their personalities in the best possible way through my images. The photos we created together turned out to look super elegant and romantic!
Jeffrey Mansion Engagement Photography
The reason why I love sharing my couples’ pictures with you all and talking about my experiences from my shoots is because my attempt as a photographer is to give you a visual treat as well as help you draw inspiration for your big day. Whenever I come back from a shoot, I try to squeeze in time from my schedule to showcase the photos I take, but sometimes a tight schedule and tough timelines don’t allow me that luxury soon enough. However, when I do get that window, I immediately get to work - and this post is the result of that.
I did Hanna and Sid’s engagement session some time back and also shot their wedding in 2020. It was an intimate celebration as there were only six of us, including myself and the officiant. It was just her parents, and his family was on a Zoom call. It was such a sweet ceremony, and I am so excited as I will be shooting their full wedding this year.
For their engagement session, my charming couple turned up in beautifully color-coordinated attire, which I totally loved. The shades of their outfits seamlessly blended with the scenery around, giving the images a cohesive look. As a photographer, I really appreciate it when my couples make these sessions count, paying attention to every little detail, and Hanna and Sid did an excellent job on putting their look together for the session. My models were so photogenic and natural in front of the camera that they hardly needed any instructions, making my work easier and all the more fun. They held hands, embraced each other, and enjoyed a walk around Jeffrey Estate. It was all so organic and genuine! And it helped me get some cool candid images of my couple - amid the woods and gardens - as they looked at each other with so much love and had great fun in each other’s company.
A paved entrance, manicured gardens, and refreshing surroundings at the Jeffrey Estate made this engagement shoot so wholesome. The Jeffrey Mansion is a premier event space in Columbus and shooting there has always been a pleasure, and this time was no exception. However, the two things I loved the most were the bright smiles that never left my couple’s faces and the sparkle in their eyes. Woah! So gratifying!
