Gabriel and Travis | Walden Chicago Wedding

Travis and Gabriel's Walden wedding was picture-perfect! They went all out with a tropical boho chic theme, filling the venue with vibrant pops of pink and peach, and a whopping 24 disco ball centerpiece on the dance floor. Can you believe it? These two definitely know how to make a statement! From the start, they set the tone for a party to remember, hopping on a party bus and kicking off the festivities. The band had everyone singing along, and the dance floor was packed all night long. I can't even begin to describe the energy and joy that filled the air. This was more than just a wedding; it was a celebration of love and life.

Meet Travis and Gabriel

Travis and Gabriel crossed paths five years ago in the heart of Columbus, Ohio, and they have been together ever since. But here comes the swoon-worthy part – the proposal! Travis went all out, meticulously planning every detail in collaboration with an enchanting venue in Puerto Vallarta. As the sun was setting, Gabriel stepped onto the terrace and couldn't help but notice that it was lined with photos of both their families. And guess who was there, ready and waiting? Yup, Travis, with a heart full of love!

We began the day capturing Travis and Gabriel's getting ready moments. They were cool, calm, and collected as they put on their stylish suits and pinned on their colorful boutonnieres. And what made it even more heartwarming was seeing their moms right there beside them, beaming with pride as they watched their sons prepare for one of the biggest days of their lives.

Travis and Gabriel’s first look was super sweet! They stood with their backs to each other, and when they finally turned around, their reactions were priceless. Holding hands, they gazed deeply into each other's eyes, and you could just feel that they couldn’t wait to start their happily ever after.

The amazing couple sure knew how to keep the good times rolling! They had everything planned out, including a party bus to whisk them and their wedding party away on a fun-filled adventure around the city! Those folks were a riot to hang out with. The sheer joy and excitement they had for the couple were infectious. One of the absolute highlights for me was when everyone linked arms and walked together with their shades on. They looked like a stylish squad ready to conquer the world.

We kept the adventure going, and I managed to capture some absolutely stunning couples portraits of Travis and Gabriel. Their smiles lit up the entire scene. Hand-in-hand, they strolled along, completely lost in each other's company. Soon, the big moment arrived! Standing in front of the wedding altar adorned with fresh Monstera leaves, the couple tied the knot. The officiant bestowed their blessings upon the newlyweds, and all eyes were on Travis and Gabriel as they gracefully walked down the aisle, now partners for life.

The reception Party

After saying their "I do's", it was time to get the party started! Their reception had vibrant tropical boho vibes with gorgeous hues of pink and peach. And get this – they had not one, not two, but over 24 disco balls hanging over the dance floor as the centerpiece. It was like stepping into a disco wonderland! Speaking of the dance floor, that's where Travis and Gabriel kicked off the party. They took to the floor as newlyweds, and it was magical. They shared a kiss right in the middle of the floor. Isn’t that so romantic? 

The couple arranged for some quirky Christmas props, which added an extra layer of fun to the already insanely good vibes. And let me tell you, the live band they had was absolutely killer. Travis and Gabriel even joined them on stage for a sing-along, and they absolutely nailed it. The night was just epic, filled with good food, great music, and even better company. Travis and Gabriel truly embodied the "Live, Love, Laugh" motto, and it was an honor to be part of their incredible celebration.
