Devon And Matt | Downtown Columbus Engagement
An engagement is a significant moment in any couple’s relationship. It is at this time that a couple promises to love and support each other through thick and thin. My favorite part of being an engagement photographer is meeting so many wonderful couples at the start of their new journey, like Devon and Matt! Photographing their Downtown Columbus engagement session was a fantastic experience. The beautiful location chosen by them made the photography session feel like an adventure, as if we had traveled to 10 different locations by the end of it. The couple were such sweethearts, and I enjoyed every moment of capturing their love.
Devon And Matt's Downtown Columbus Engagement Session
When photographing an engagement session, nothing makes me feel more grateful than watching my couples put their best foot forward. Devon and Matt were no different! They made sure they looked and felt great for the session, and I must say the end results speak volumes about the planning and dedication they put in. Their positive attitude and willingness to explore different locations made our time together enjoyable and resulted in stunning engagement photos.
Downtown Columbus and its various vibrant spots provided the perfect backdrops for Devon and Matt’s engagement session. The weather was pleasant, and the natural lighting was spot-on, allowing me to capture lovely photographs of the couple. Devon and Matt’s engagement session outfit selections were just as fabulous as they are. These fashion-savvy lovebirds had not one, but three outfits to show off! For their first look, the couple were dressed in semi-formal attire, with Devon wearing an emerald green dress and Matt wearing a pair of brown pants and a shirt. As they walked hand-in-hand around Downtown Columbus, I got some great shots of the lovebirds enjoying this time together and soaking in the feeling of being engaged.
From their romantic and graceful poses along the riverside to their impromptu dance moves, Devon and Matt were the epitome of elegance mixed with a dash of cuteness. Watching them gaze lovingly into each other's eyes was truly magical, and I couldn't help but feel like I was witnessing a scene straight out of a romantic movie. For part two of their shoot, the couple changed into a casual outfit: Devon in her floral dress and Matt in his pink shirt and brown pants.
One of the highlights of their engagement session was the mesmerizing golden hour. The natural lighting was spectacular. It seemed as though mother nature cast a magical spell just for Devon and Matt to mark such an incredible moment in their lives. Capturing the couple’s bright smiles and twinkling eyes as they posed against the rail tracks in that warm golden light was one of my favorite parts of the shoot.
Devon and Matt brought their A-game to their engagement session and went for an athleisure look for their third and final look. Matt looked cool in shorts and a sports T-shirt, and Devon rocked her leggings and Columbus 96 sweatshirt. At this point, they really let out their inner child and threw their hands in the air and jumped around as I continued to take their photos. The expressions on their faces were epic, and I could tell that they were having such a fun time.
