Arushi & Li’s COSI Engagement Session
I always love it when my couples come up with different ideas for their engagement session locations. Some prefer green surroundings, some want to get themselves photographed around a waterbody. Others like a reflection of the bustling city life in their images, while some just pick up locations that are close to their personalities or have a connection with their story. All thanks to my beautiful couples, I get to create lovely engagement images at all these unique locations. I got yet another similar opportunity when Arushi and Li chose COSI, the Center Of Science And Industry, in Columbus, for their engagement photo shoot. This science museum and research center was a perfect place for my couple’s day out and amazing photography with all the impressive backgrounds that it had to offer. I created lots of romantic engagement images of my couple at the venue.

On the day of the engagement session, I couldn’t help but admire Arushi and Li. They looked so adorable together. They were dressed in wedding colors just like a bride and groom, and if anyone had seen them at that moment, they’d immediately know how deeply in love these two are. My couple was happy and in high spirits throughout the session, and I loved how they looked at each other. They held hands, embraced each other, and planted gentle kisses to express their love for each other. Their smiles were bright and infectious. And the two of them exuded such lovely, positive vibes that inspired me to create stellar engagement images for them.
As we shot inside COSI in the "Progress" exhibit, which travels through time, we got incredible backdrops for my couple’s portraits. The lighting was gorgeous, and my models were super photogenic. I had a complete package and knew we’d be able to photograph some impressive images, and that’s exactly what we did. Arushi is a videographer and very creative, and she had some amazing inputs, which I loved and incorporated into the images as much as possible. The results were fantastic! It’s always a great feeling when you collaborate with people who have the same kind of passion and are creative souls!
While I enjoyed taking all the photos of my couple, a few stood out for me. The one where Arushi and Li broke into a little dance was super cute. Another one where I used a window as a frame to compose their image was special too. I loved the ones where they posed in front of the Dino Gasoline booth. The black car and beautiful lamp posts added a vintage touch to the images. At the end of the session, I took some images of Arushi and Li outside the center with rounded pillars in the background. The dim red light rendered a dreamy feel to the images and helped me play and experiment with the lighting as well.

Arushi and Li, you guys are just made for each other. You are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I had so much fun in your company, and photographing you two was a pleasure. Kudos to you two for putting in all the efforts in choosing your attire and such a stunning location, such as COSI! Also, a big thank you to both of you for choosing me to be your engagement photographer, and I look forward to documenting your future celebrations. I wish you both loads of fun times and happiness together!
