Good locations that offer beautiful settings for photography always make my day! Now, imagine how excited I’d be when I get not one or two but a total of three gorgeous venues to photograph a single wedding. Well! That’s the opportunity I got for a wedding photography assignment I recently worked on for Julie and Gabriel’s big day in Columbus at three different venues. From the imposing skyscraper LaVeque Tower and the iconic Ohio Statehouse to the unique and urban setting of Vue Columbus, this wedding allowed me to expand my horizon and capture these architectural wonders in all their glory. Oh! What fun it was to create my couple’s pictures at all these amazing venues and also photograph their lovely guests. The day was wonderful, and so was my couple’s celebration of their love and union. Capturing Julie and Gabriel’s special moments and genuine expressions on my camera got me some memorable photos.

Vue Columbus Wedding Photography

I started photographing Julie and Gabriel’s wedding from the time they began getting ready at LaVeque Tower. From the wedding attire and accessories to other wedding details, I photographed them all. Soon, it was time for some solo portraits of the bride and groom, and why not? It was their special day, and the look they donned on their wedding day deserved all the spotlight. I also took pictures of the groom with his handsome and sharply dressed groomsmen, while the bride happily posed with her pretty bridesmaids for my camera. All of them were in such high spirits and smiled throughout, which made my work easier and more enjoyable. Of course, this also led to me getting some wonderful wedding portraits.

After this, Julie and Gabriel exchanged personal vows with just me present, and I can’t express in words how honored I felt as the bride and groom let me be a part of such an intimate moment of their new life together. I not just got to witness all those heartwarming emotions and beautiful reactions but also got a chance to document them into forever photos. This was followed by tons of couples portraits, after which I photographed Julie and Gabriel with their bridal party. These pictures of the couple with their closest people exuded so much love and warmth. Be it the LaVeque Tower or the Ohio Statehouse, all the images I created at these two locations turned out to be full of fun and festivity!

Each moment at this wedding was so unique and special, but some stood out for me, and a few of them were when I took night shots of my couple at the Vue Columbus, where they had their ceremony and reception. From florals and decor to table arrangements and lighting, everything had been planned and executed to the T. There were so many fantastic backdrops at the Vue that creating awe-inspiring photos was like a cakewalk. Talking about cakes, yes, the two-tiered white wedding cake with floral toppings was a sight to behold and shoot as well! And what I also really loved was the hanging LED string lights against the white curtain backdrop for the ceremony. They just set the mood right for this celebration and allowed me to create so many amazing wedding photos.

The reception was equally beautiful! My couple had a great time with their guests, and so did I in the company of all those warm and welcoming people. It was a great workday for me, and I had lots of fun while creating all the photos. Julie and Gabriel, I hope both of you love your wedding pictures as much as I enjoyed creating them for you.
