Sophia | Jeffrey Mansion Senior Photos
I’ve had the privilege of photographing some amazing people in my journey as a photographer. And while I photograph weddings and engagements and continue to be inspired by love, I find photographing seniors equally rewarding. Maybe it's because these portraits mark a milestone in a student's life. Or maybe it's because they're such a joy to capture, full of energy and excitement for what lies ahead. Whatever the reason, I always feel so honored when someone approaches me for senior portraits. My goal while taking senior portraits is always the same: I want to make sure that each and every senior feels beautiful and confident during their photo shoot and see a true reflection of themselves in those images. So when Sophia asked me to be her senior portraits photographer, I knew exactly what I needed to do.
Sophia’s Senior Portraits Session
Sophia was such a wonderful client to work with. The weather was perfect, the lighting was impeccable, and Sophia was a total natural in front of the camera. Combine all that with the grandeur of Jeffrey Mansion - everything on that day of Sophia’s senior portraits session worked in our favor. Additionally, the view of Jeffrey Park from the mansion was stunning, and the paved entrance and picture-perfect gardens around the estate added an extra touch of elegance to the pictures.
As a senior portraits photographer, I always admire clients who go the extra mile and give their 100% for their photo shoot. When Sophia came in for her session, she had three different outfits planned, and she was so excited to get her pictures taken. I could tell that she put a lot of effort and planning into making her session memorable, and when clients are that excited, I automatically get even more excited to work with them.
Sophia's first outfit was a chic bright floral dress that flawlessly complemented the surroundings. Her second look was a pair of jeans and a black top for a more casual and comfortable look. And her third outfit was a pair of jeans and a cute top with bow sleeves. Totally confident and comfortable, Sophia was a total pro in front of the camera.
My client was also a total trooper, strolling around the location and posing in front of different backdrops. Her bright smile never left her face, and her energy was on a whole other level. Plus, she made for some great company too! I am constantly impressed by all the seniors that I get to photograph. Not only do I get to have some interesting interactions with them, but they also bring so much grace, charm, confidence, and positivity along with them. Senior portraits sessions are always a pleasure, and it makes me immensely happy to be able to capture this time for them.
