Senior Photos | Columbus Ohio Franklin Park Conservatory

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I am a people photographer. For most people, pictures are prized possessions that remind them of a time full of happiness and love. And as a photographer, whether it means capturing your wedding day or individual portraits, my intent is to capture all the emotions, feelings, and especially the essence of you. I recently had the pleasure of meeting a senior, Lucy, and photographing her senior photos. From her warm sunshine-like smile and confidence to her amazing ballet talent, I truly enjoyed every moment during the portrait session. Senior portrait have always been special to me and meeting these wonderful young people is such a joy!

Lucy’s Senior Pictures At Columbus Ohio Franklin Park Conservatory

When Lucy asked me to photograph her senior portrait at the famous Columbus Ohio Franklin Park Conservatory, I was delighted. Having photographed at the location numerous times, I knew what spots would be great for taking Lucky’s senior photos. Styled in a pair of jeans and a blue sweater, Lucy had the most radiant smile on her face.

The weather was great with the sun peeking through the trees, it was as if mother nature knew that we would be planning some fun that day! During the portrait session, Lucy strolled the grounds of the conservatory and posed in front of different backdrops, each being more beautiful than the next. As a senior portrait photographer, my goal is to capture all the effort that my client puts in to make their session amazing, and Lucy was no exception. From planning three different outfits to showcasing her outstanding ballet skills, this young lady was so much fun to work with.

As we continued exploring the location, Lucy changed into her second outfit and wore a skirt and top that perfectly matched our surroundings. I loved that Lucy was super excited to get her photos taken, and when my clients get excited, I automatically get even more enthusiastic as well.

I also love when high school seniors bring their passions and hobbies to their senior pictures. And because Lucy is a ballerina, she wanted to do some photos in her tutu with her ballet shoes on. She posed with such grace and confidence and her pictures are a testament to the hard work and dedication that she put into pursuing this passion. I am constantly amazed by all the seniors that I get to photograph, and not only do I enjoy interacting with them but they also bring so much talent, charm, and positivity along with them that makes me love what I do.
