Columbus Senior Portraits Photography With Ally
Almost all of us love to try out different colors and styles when it comes to dressing up. And, when it’s that one special day, most of us are beyond excited to look the part. The bonus? How wonderful it would be if you’re also up for a photo session to document your precious moments! Haah! Do you need any more reasons to slip into your favorite outfits? I think not! That’s why I totally loved it when Ally, who’s a senior at Upper Arlington Schools, put in so much effort into coming up with not one, not two, but four amazing looks for her senior portraits in Columbus. My session with Ally was all about having fun and celebrating her milestone by documenting the many moods and moments of this lovely young girl, and being in the company of this smart and bright girl was such a pleasure for me. With earthy hues, awe-inspiring architecture, and lush greenery as backdrops, the senior photos we created together turned out to be stunning!

Ally is a dancer and will be a dance major in college. She is such a sweet girl and full of grace. I’m so glad that her photo session with me wasn’t just about the beautiful senior images but also the conversations we had. Ally, I have to say, you are brilliant!
The looks Ally donned for her photo session had a mix of comfy casual and chic and pretty. For one of her looks, Ally dressed up in a pair of dark-blue jeans and a muted gray top. For another look, Ally chose a lovely checkered dress, while she coupled a white top with a brown mini pencil skirt for her third look. The bright orange short dress Ally put on for her final look added a dash of color to the images. While all her looks beautifully highlighted her charming personality and exuded spunk and confidence, I must say that one thing that remained constant throughout the photo session was her bright and dazzling smile. Her smile not only ensured that the photos turned out gorgeous but also added so much warmth and liveliness to the entire session. Also, Ally was so photogenic and natural in front of the camera. I loved the poise with which she carried herself and posed before the camera to give me some of the most impressive shots.
Be it the brick walls, concrete pillars in earthy hues, the bridge structure, or the greenery around, Ally was comfortable and at ease amid each of the surroundings. And, in fact, nailed each and every shot! We also used colorful chairs as props for Ally to be photographed with and voila! We got a superb senior portrait. The images where she posed around some pretty rose bushes turned out to look so incredible, with the flowers adding a beautiful pop of color to the photos. The images taken near the train tracks and those photographed with towering skyscrapers gracing the backdrops even helped me incorporate architectural elements into the images. For me as a photographer, this session with Ally was both an enriching experience and a relaxed workday! Ally, if you are reading this, I hope you love your senior portraits as much as I loved creating them with you.

Ally, congratulations once again on reaching this milestone and celebrating it in style! I can’t express enough how much I admire your efforts in making this session count. I know, in the past couple of years, just like many other students, you might have had to skip many of your school functions and miss creating memories with your friends due to the curbs imposed to tackle the COVID-19 crisis. However, I am so happy that I could play my little role in helping you create some good memories of your high school year and, in a way, bring in a sense of normalcy amid such challenging times.
