Real Wedding at the Columbus Athenaeum

Sarah and Brad's Columbus Athenaeum wedding will always be special to us for many reasons, the biggest being that I was a surprise for the bride! The bride's mother was particularly picky about wedding photos because she is a retired wedding photographer of 30 years. So, she did tons of research, contacted me, and together we got to surprise Sarah and Brad with a wedding package.

Things I will always remember from this day: The bride and groom were both into theater, which meant for animated photo-ops! They made my job easy because they enjoyed playing into the camera by allowing their personalities to shine through. They were anything but shy and really had fun with the photos and especially with one another.

This is one of the first years that I can remember every spring tree blooming at the same time. The colors that day were gorgeous.

Sarah is a member of the Salty Caramels, a local band. She surprised her mom during the reception by serenading her. Her incredible performance and heart-felt song was all about how she found someone who would always take care of her (Brad), and that her mom would never have to worry about her daughter's happiness...it was quite an amazing moment that will always be remembered.
